New In : Rimmel Apocalips...

Hi girls!

Last week I was shopping in Italy when I finally spotted the new Rimmel Apocalips range...

Of course being a beauty blogger + a lip products junkie I had to try one of these!
I settled for the shade 201 'Solstice', a very wearable antique pink with tiny silver shimmers running through it. You can't really see them once applied but they give a nice dimension!

Some people compare them to the YSL Glossy Stains or the L'Oréal Caresse Glosses but to me this is completely different.
The Apocalips are liquid lipsticks with a glossy finish. They don't stain the lips!

I'm very impressed with their texture... Very creamy, pigmented and comfortable to wear!
They look nice and smooth on the lips without emphasizing dry skin. Once they are dry they have a satiny finish, which I actually really like!

I like their doe-foot applicator, it has a little gap on the surface where the product is collected. It allows you to cover both lips with just one stroke. No more dipping! Clever!

The staying power is really good, it stays on for 3 to 4 hours on me! The packaging is ok for a drugstore product... not my cup of tea but it's not obnoxious either!

I'm interested to try another bright color for spring/summer now! I'm already planning another trip in Italy in the next days! :-)
