Winter Must Have! Avène Rich Compensating Cream...

Hi girls!

A couple of you asked me to review this "Avène Rich Compensating Cream" so here it is! 

Your wish is my command! :-)

I have combination skin but in winter time it tends to get dry and sensitive with redness... What a beautiful cocktail! 

You know I'm a big fan of Avène skincare so of course I immediately went for this brand last winter. I was looking for something rich but non-comedogenic at the same time.

I love it, it's very rich and hydrating. I use it mostly at night but I've also used it for days like these with freezing temperatures. 

It works well as a makeup base and keeps your skin nice and moisturized all day long... Be sure to always let it sink for a few minutes before applying makeup though as it's very rich!

I also apply it after I take my makeup off at night to bring back some moisture and relief.  

The texture is between a cream and a butter. It's definitely on the rich side, you don't need much at all. A tiny bit goes a long way and it can feel a bit greasy if you are heavy handed so don't go overboard! 

The smell is very nice and fresh, like most Avène products. 

It never caused me any breakouts or blackheads and is hypoallergenic.

The glass packaging is very cute but on the heavy side so not the most practical for traveling... That's my only complaint about this cream!  

It's a bit pricey, around 26€ for 50ml but worth every penny in my opinion. The quality is there, it does exactly what it says on the packaging! I will repurchase when I run out, for sure!
