What's in my Makeup Bag?

Hi girls!

Lately I've been relying on the same makeup products...
You know, when you find a routine that works for you and that makes you feel good? That's what I'm talking about!

Here are the products that made it to my makeup bag lately (in no particular order).

Maybelline Dream LUMI Touch Highlighting Concealer: I remember not being impressed with this at the beginning... I've started using this again recently and I actually really like it! It covers darkness under my eyes and adds a bit a brightness. I also apply it lightly on my forehead (between my eyebrows), around the nose and on my chin just to illuminate my face. It's a light coverage concealer, if you have really bad circles under the eyes this won't be enough. I like the fact that it's in a pen form, it's easy to apply and takes no space in my makeup bag!

Laura Mercier Mineral Powder SPF 15 in 'Natural Beige': I've been seriously impressed with this stuff! It's amazing! The coverage and the finish are exactly what I'm looking for in a foundation. It looks natural, my skin still looks like skin but way better! This is the only foundation I've been using since I got it,  it has taken the place of my Garnier BB cream and Chanel Vitalumière Aqua! We are talking 'Holy Grail' status here people... :-)
I also love the application process... so easy, not messy and no greasy feeling on the skin whatsoever. I invite you to read my review here if you want more details about it!

For my eyebrows I'm still using the KIKO 'Eyebrow Marker' in the shade 2: It's so easy to apply, no brush required for this! It lasts all day on me and the color is very natural. I've done a full review here. I brush them with a spooly when I'm finished and voilà!

On my eyes I always use MAC 'Painterly Paint' Pot, it's the only base I use. I've never felt the need to try something else... It primes my eyelids perfectly, erases the redness and reveals the true color of  my eyeshadows. I've had this for almost 2 years and it hasn't dried yet.

For eyeshadow I'm only using two at the moment... First I apply Maybelline Eye Studio Mono in 610 'Silken Taupe'. It's my all time favorite lid color! It's the most perfect light pinkish taupe. It gives dimension to my eyes without looking too heavy or obvious. It's so light that it requires minimal blending! This eyeshadow is nicely pigmented and has a nice sheen. It's not shimmery or sparkly.
Then I sweep a litttle bit of skin color eyeshadow to highlight my inner corners and brow bone. I use Catrice Absolute Colour in 090 'Bring Me Frosted Cake'. It's very similar to MAC 'Vanilla'. I can't do my makeup without adding this. It's very subtle but makes the biggest difference at the same time. As you can see it's been well loved and used!

After that I add a few dots of Maybelline Master Drama Khol Liner in 'Dark Brown' along the top and bottom lash lines that I smudge with a pencil brush just to add a bit of definition.

One or two coats of Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara and the eyes are done!
This is a great mascara if you have sensitive eyes, it's not irritating at all. It gives good volume and length and is not clumpy. I will do a proper review about this later!

For blush you know I'm a sucker for peachy-pinks, MAC 'Dainty' Mineralize Blush has made a come back! I've always loved this blush, it gives a nice fresh look and a little bit of sheen/shimmer. No additional highlighter required with this!

For lips I've enjoyed using the By Terry 'Baume de Rose' I got recently! I will do a proper review very soon so I won't go into details about it.
MAC 'Sunny Seoul' Cremesheen has been my favorite lately... It's a lovely peachy-pink (surprise surprise!) that instantly brightens my face.
The other lip product I've been LOVING lately is the Sephora Ultra Vinyl Lip Pencil in 'Gorgeous Peach'. It's a pretty peach with a nice golden sheen. Think Revlon Lip Butter 'Peach Parfait' but in a pencil form! It stays really well on the lips and is not drying at all. It's not completely matte, nor glossy. I love that stuff!

I love this routine... And all the products fit in a small makeup bag! Yay! *patting myself on the back*.
